Privacy Policy
Swoop Mapping is a $10/month self-serve territory map for individual field reps. It is not a CRM, not a manager dashboard, and not a shadow CRM. You own your field data. We do not sell it.
Who we are
Swoop Mapping is the public product name. The operator and Stripe merchant of record is Boundless Design LLC, a Wisconsin company. Boundless Design LLC is the legal entity that bills you and holds the accounts — not a second consumer brand on this site.
The marketing site is www.swoopmapping.com (also reachable at swoopmapping.com). The map app is app.swoopmap.com/?sku=rep. This marketing site does not host the map.
Questions: matt.olson@boundlessdesign.us.
What we collect
We collect what the product needs to run a personal territory map, bill a subscription, and answer a question you chose to ask.
- Account. Sign-in runs through Clerk. We receive the email you use (and, if you pick Google, the identifier Clerk gets from that sign-in). We store a Clerk user id and use it to scope your field book so another account cannot open it.
- Billing. Subscriptions are $10/month through Stripe. Card numbers and wallet details are handled by Stripe, not stored on this marketing site and not kept as raw card data in our app database. We see what Stripe shows a merchant: customer email, subscription status, invoices, and portal activity.
- Field book. Pins, stops, Hunt / Warm / Later, notes, dictated notes, industry-pack loads, and a sample-book import you choose to bring in. That is your book. We do not share books between users.
- Location and map use. The map needs a place to center, nearby stops, and the territory you load. We process location and map activity as needed to show the field and run the product — not to build a sold location dossier.
- Server logs. Standard request logs on Cloudflare (this site), Azure (app and API), and our own servers: IP, user agent, path, time, and error traces. Used to operate and debug the service.
- Ask Dux. If you use Ask Dux on the marketing site, we keep a sanitized research summary of the ask — names, phones, and addresses stripped — for roadmap themes. Not a public conversation dump and not your field book.
How we use it
- Run the map, keep your book on your account, and show nearby stops.
- Create and manage a Stripe subscription and the Stripe customer portal.
- Entitle a paid account in the app after checkout (Clerk + Swoop).
- Run Prep Me when you tap it, and Ask Dux when you send a question.
- Keep the site and app up, fix bugs, and stop abuse.
- Read sanitized Ask Dux summaries for product themes — not raw field or book data.
We do not use Swoop as a company-wide CRM, a manager scoreboard, or a way to watch a team’s book.
Prep Me and xAI
Prep Me is a driveway briefing you start. You tap it for a stop. It is assistive copy for the door — not legal, compliance, or sales advice, and not a dump of an employer CRM.
When you run Prep Me we send the model the stop context needed for that briefing (the pin and the notes you already put on it). We minimize what goes over. We do not lead with “upload your company’s CRM.” We do not train our models, or let a provider train theirs for us, on customer or account personal data unless you explicitly opt in for that Prep Me action.
Prep generation uses xAI. After you subscribe, 25 Preps are included each month. After that you can bring your own xAI key (BYOK) or buy more Preps at about $4 per 100, as shown at purchase. If you use BYOK, the request goes to xAI with your key; treat that like any other key you control.
You are responsible for not putting data into Prep Me that you are forbidden to put in an unsanctioned tool.
Ask Dux
Ask Dux is a marketing-site chat in Dux’s voice — Dux is the named spokes-character, not the logo; the geometric falcon is the mark. It is not connected to your field book. The model does not receive raw pins, notes, or book rows from the app.
Each ask is sanitized (emails, phones, addresses, and similar identifiers stripped) and a short summary can be posted to a Boundless research API so we can see themes for the roadmap. That log is not a public dump and not a transcript of your territory.
Cookies and sign-in
The app uses Clerk cookies or similar storage to keep you signed in (email or Google). Stripe uses cookies on Checkout and the customer portal. Cloudflare may set cookies or similar data to operate and protect this site. Azure hosts the app and API.
We use these to authenticate, bill, and run the product. We do not run a third-party advertising network on this site, and we do not sell cookie data.
Who else sees data
These companies process data so Swoop can run. They are not a second Swoop brand.
- Clerk — account email / Google sign-in.
- Stripe — $10/month subscription, invoices, customer portal, cards.
- Cloudflare — this marketing site (Pages) and edge protection.
- Azure — the map app (Static Web Apps), the API, and Postgres for books scoped by Clerk user id.
- Map and Places providers — draw the map and look up nearby stops you load.
- xAI — Prep Me briefings you start, and Ask Dux replies on this site.
Each of those providers has its own terms and privacy notice. We do not publish a separate data-processing agreement on this page.
Ownership, export, and delete
You own your field data. Pins, notes, Hunt / Warm / Later, and imports stay on your book. We do not share one user’s book with another user. We do not sell your book.
You can export your book from the product and request deletion of the account and book. Email matt.olson@boundlessdesign.us if you need a hand. After deletion we remove or de-identify the book we control, except records we must keep for billing, tax, security, or law.
No sale of personal data
We do not sell personal data. We do not sell field books. Sanitized Ask Dux summaries are for our own roadmap, not a data marketplace.
How long we keep it
- Account and book — while the account is open, then until we finish a deletion request.
- Billing — as long as Stripe and tax or accounting rules require a merchant to keep invoices and customer records.
- Logs — long enough to operate, debug, and handle abuse, then aged out in the ordinary course.
- Ask Dux summaries — kept as short research notes, not as a permanent public archive.
Who the product is for
Swoop is for adult field reps. You must be 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think we have data from someone under 18, email us and we will delete it.
Access and deletion requests
If you want a copy of what we hold on your account, a correction, or deletion, email matt.olson@boundlessdesign.us. Say which email you use for Clerk and Stripe. We will work the request in good faith.
If you are in the EEA, the UK, or California, use the same address. This page is not a claim that we are certified under GDPR, CCPA, or any other privacy framework, and it is not a substitute for a lawyer-reviewed compliance program.
